Why Resilient Healing?

Welcome to a space where your story matters. At Resilient Healing, I believe that healing starts with being heard. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, past trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to support you. Life can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. I provide a supportive environment to explore your thoughts, rediscover your voice, and build emotional resilience creating meaningful, lasting change. Trust is foundational in counselling.

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach is client-centred, grounded in empathy, respect, and confidentiality. I view clients as the experts of their own experience and offer a safe, inclusive space to explore thoughts and feelings without judgment. Using an integrative, evidence-based approach, incorporating Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, working together to identify what’s holding you back and develop practical, personalised steps toward growth and healing. Sessions support greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships. Whether you’re facing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship challenges, parenting struggles, adolescent anxiety, or fertility issues, your experiences are valid here. I provide compassionate support both online and in-person, helping you move toward clarity, healing, and lasting positive change. Please feel free to get in touch to arrange an appointment and begin your journey toward greater well-being and understanding.

What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly.

Frequently asked questions

What is Counselling?

Counselling is a confidential, supportive process where individuals discuss their thoughts, feelings, and struggles. It encourages self-awareness, emotional strength, and meaningful change. Counselling supports issues like anxiety, grief, relationships, and life changes.

Why speak to a counsellor?

Talking to a counsellor offers a non-judgmental, safe space to help clarify concerns, develop coping strategies, and address stress, anxiety, or relational struggles. It empowers individuals, providing support and tools to manage life’s challenges and build resilience.

How long should I attend therapy for?

The length of therapy varies depending on the issues you bring and your personal goals. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others need longer-term work. I work collaboratively with you to regularly review your progress and together we decide what feels most helpful and appropriate for your ongoing support, growth, and wellbeing.

How often should I attend therapy?

How often you attend therapy depends on your needs, goals, and circumstances. Many people start with weekly sessions to build momentum and trust. As progress is made, sessions may become fortnightly or less frequent.

Is counselling confidential?

Yes, counselling is confidential. What you share stays private, creating a safe space for open expression. There are exceptions, I will explain these limits clearly, so you understand how confidentiality is maintained and respected.
